i emailed lucasarts about monkey island 5 and they said they have no plans as of yet.
I just think the whole thing is petty on either side. But still, that's all it is, and these things are forgotten about.
I have played Monkey Island with my nephew on his computer. I haven't cleared it. I have played Monkey Island 4 at a friends house, figuring out "Monkey Combat".
